SPOWIND Final Event: Making the Mediterranean Green Transition Happen

SPOWIND, the Innovative Sustainable Economy (ISE) Mission Thematic Project, is hosting its final event on 4 December in a hybrid format. The event will bring together experts, researchers, and innovators to explore how offshore wind can shape a sustainable future for the Mediterranean region. This event will highlight the journey from data to decisions, showcase the SPOWIND WebGIS, and open the floor to an engaging Interreg MED Synergy Panel featuring leading marine-resources initiatives.
The agenda will cover a variety of topics within the marine resources focus area, from offshore wind potential insights for the Mediterranean to live exploration of maps, scenarios and decision-support tools, a guest talk by Giuseppe Palazzo (RSE) or a synergy panel with sister thematic projects within the ISE Mission like Blue Ecosystem and AZA4ICE. The event will also look into what comes next within the ISE Mission exploring further opportunities to keep on boosting the green transition in the Mediterranean.
