The Interreg Euro-MED Innovative Sustainable Economy Mission aims at consolidating a competitive innovation ecosystem and supporting sustainable economy in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

The Interreg Euro-MED Innovative Sustainable Economy Mission works to boost a just transition towards a more innovative green and blue circular economy in the Euro-Mediterranean region through two governance projects (Thematic Community Project and Institutional Dialogue Project) that develop innovative technical knowledge and ensure these new solutions are transferred into public policies. The Thematic Community Project works to achieve the mission goals with on-the-ground activities and a bottom-up cooperation approach. The Institutional Dialogue Project improves the long-lasting conditions for an institutional and social dialogue in the Mediterranean, bridging the transnational dimension with local solutions and increasing coordination, policy coherence and alignment of actions for an innovative sustainable economy.
