This survey aims to gather relevant input of the Mission project partners to further focus and improve the ISEC Hub and its utility for the Mission’s stakeholders.
It is divided in two sections:
The first section of the survey seeks to gather two key insights pertaining to the Pillar Collaborate:
- SCAN4HUBS identifies existing international and Mediterranean-level networks and hubs in order to explore opportunities for collaboration among similar initiatives and to foster synergies. A hub is understood as a central point of connection, exchange, or coordination within a network or system.
- SCAN4MESSAGES supports the Mission’s advocacy efforts and aims to generate policy-oriented knowledge in the form of policy positions, consultation papers, statements, recommendations, and more. To foster a unified Mediterranean voice, this activity seeks to encourage and facilitate the development of joint policy messages, enabling collective contributions to coherent and impactful policy outcomes. To advance this goal, we kindly request some information about your projects.
The second part of the questionnaire aims at identifying existing alliances/partnerships created and active in the Mediterranean region and their goals, as well as the role and involvement of Mission actors. Alliances are understood as coalitions of multiple quadruple helix actors (multistakeholder/multilevel) that join their efforts and work together using different types of funds, exchange relevant information and pool resources to achieve common goals and visions in line with the dynamics and needs of their territories and in line with sustainable development goals.
Inspired by international experiences such as the Powering Past Coal Alliance and building on the valuable experience of the Interreg MED communities, we seek to explore how these connections can be strengthened to jointly address common challenges in the Mediterranean region in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Estimated time to complete the survey: 30 min.
